Emilie Gray is a Melbourne-based designer who provides a service to meet each individual client’s needs and desires. Whether for a special occasion or simply for made-to-measure clothing which is both comfortable and fashionable, Emilie Gray offers style and colour consultation, measuring and fitting sessions.

With a variety of fabrics and her own range of unique, striking garments from which to choose, each order is created to fit and flatter the individual. With a particular passion for the dramatic, Emilie Gray designs often incorporate eccentric features in their makeup, whilst remaining distinguished and wearable.

Much of her inspiration is drawn from the lively influence of 1950's dress, focusing on accentuating the waist. She also applies to her designs the elegant shapes from the 1930's and 40's eveningwear.

Another avenue of design that Emilie loves to explore is the structured nature of the Victorian Rococo era. With such sharp and rigid design lines, Emilie chooses to make these styles in fabrics which are fresh and fun in contrast. Her innovative combinations have been likened to the colourful mayhem of a carnival.
